First Alert Forecast: Tracking Tropical Storm Norbert, impacts possible late next week

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – Tropical Storm Norbert formed in the East Pacific and is on a track towards Hawaii and is forecast to strengthen into a hurricane over the weekend. A plume of moisture remains over the eastern end of the state, bringing clouds and showers to the Big Island this morning. Trade winds are expected to pick up today. Drier trade wind weather is expected to develop Thursday night into early next week.
