First Alert Forecast: Winds expected to build over the weekend with a few scattered showers
HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – Moderate trade winds are expected to build back to locally breezy levels over the weekend. Clouds and showers will remain focused mainly along windward and mauka areas through the middle of next week. A drier airmass moving in from the east is expected to induce a drying trend that limits shower activity into the weekend.

The current small south swell holds today, but a near advisory level south swell is expected to pick on Saturday and peak on Sunday. A small northwest pulse picks up today. East shores remain rough and choppy.
