Hawaiian Humane Society waives adoption fees to support Kauai recovery

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – The Hawaiian Humane Society is offering a flash adoption sale this weekend in order to free up some resources to help the Kauai shelter.

The Hawaiian Humane Society is waiving adoption fees for all pets, from Friday through Sunday, Sept. 13, with the help of donations from VCA Animal Hospitals.

As the Kauai Humane Society recovers from Hurricane Lowell, the Hawaiian Humane Society sent a team there to support their efforts.

Since officials will most likely need to bring some pets from Kauai to Oahu, the flash adoption special is aimed at freeing up space to accommodate the incoming animals.
