UH women’s soccer to play remaining 2026 home matches on campus

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – The University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa’s women’s soccer team announced Tuesday that it will play all of its remaining 2026 home matches on the UH Lower Campus Field.

The team previously planned to return to the Waipiʻo Peninsula Soccer Complex in October. However, plans are now underway to return games to Waipiʻo next season as the campus field begins phase two of its renovations.

Tough decision to remain on campus

“It was a tough decision to make, but I think just overall we’re going to play wherever they put us,” said Rainbow Wahine head soccer coach Michele Nagamine.

Each of the team’s next four home matches, starting with the Oct. 7 game against Nevada, will begin at 3 p.m. The Senior Day match on Nov. 1 against New Mexico is scheduled for 2:30 p.m.

Free admission for the public

Admission to all contests at the on-campus field is free to the public, although standard parking fees and Lower Campus Field policies will apply.
