Two Mountain View men charged with drug, firearms offenses
HILO (HawaiiNewsNow) – Two Hawaii Island men are charged with multiple drug and firearms offenses following a joint narcotics investigation with local police and federal Homeland Security agents.

Shane Dacuycuy, 49, and Raymond Adrian, 59, were arrested July 22 after officers with the Hawaii Police Department conducted search warrants at their homes in the Fern Acres subdivision in Mountain View.
40 grams of methamphetamine and one loaded firearm were recovered at Dacuycuy’s home, and 60 grams of methamphetamine and two firearms were recovered at Adrian’s home, police records say.

Police estimate the street value of seized drugs at approximately $3,000.
Dacuycuy is charged with two counts of first-degree promotion of a dangerous drug and three counts of ownership or possession prohibited. His total bail was set at $350,000.
Adrian is charged with two counts of first-degree promotion of a dangerous drug, third degree promotion of a dangerous drug, three counts of ownership and possession prohibited, and possession of a firearm in furtherance of the commission of a drug felony. His bail is set at $630,000.

Both men made their first court appearances Monday.
