Power restored to thousands in Hawaii Kai after outage
HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – Hawaii Electric said power was restored to thousands in the Hawaii Kai area Sunday.

The outage was reported at around 8:08 p.m. and initially affected 13,750 Hawaiian Electric customers in:
At 8:30 p.m., HECO said on X (formerly Twitter) that first responders are en route. The outage is not a Public Safety Power Shutoff.

HECO confirmed the outages and said that power was restored at 9 p.m. The cause of the outage is under investigation.
