Oahu grand jury indicts man in fatal Keeaumoku St. stabbing
HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – An Oahu grand jury has indicted a 42-year-old man accused of fatally stabbing another man in Honolulu.

Eugene Fulks was indicted Wednesday on a charge of second-degree murder in the death of 48-year-old Christopher Claxton.
Prosecutors said the stabbing happened Aug. 13 on Keʻeaumoku Street as Claxton was leaving Planet Fitness.

Claxton was takento the hospital, where he later died.
Fulks was arrested nearby and remains held without bail at the Oahu Community Correctional Center.
Prosecutors said Fulks is subject to an extended sentence as a persistent offender, which could result in life without the possibility of parole if a jury makes the required findings.
