Man hospitalized, 2 displaced after Haiku house fire
HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – A man was hospitalized and two were displaced after a house fire in Haiku late Friday night.

Maui firefighters were called to the 1300 block of Kaupakalua Road around 10:36 p.m.
Crews arrived to find a fire burning in a bedroom of the single-story home.
Firefighters entered the house, extinguished the flames and confirmed everyone had gotten out safely.

A 45-year-old man suffered burn injuries and was taken to Maui Memorial Medical Center for further treatment.
Two people were displaced by the fire.
Officials said the fire was confined to the bedroom where it started and was ruled accidental.
