Nanakuli building fire under investigation
HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – The cause of a fire at a two-story residential building in Nanakuli on Monday remains under investigation.

The Honolulu Fire Department was called to the corner of Farrington Highway and Maaloa Street at about 8:15pm.
Firefighters arrived to find flames and smoke coming from the building. No occupants were inside.

HFD said the fire was brought under control by 8:37 p.m. and was fully extinguished by 9:07 p.m.
An HFD fire investigator is working to determine the fire’s origin and how it started.
