Waipio Point Access Road reopens after brush fire
HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – Waipio Point Access Road has reopened after a brush fire in Waipahu early Monday.

The brush fire was first reported at 4:15 a.m.
First responders put a roadblock in place from Awalai Street to Cane Haul Road according to an alert from the City’s Department of Emergency Management.

Police at the scene told an HNN crew member the brush fire was large and got close to homes.
