Earthquake felt off Hawaii Island; no tsunami threat

HAWAII ISLAND (HawaiiNewsNow) – A 4.3 to 4.6 magnitude earthquake shook part of Hawaii Island Thursday night.

The Hawaii Emergency Management Agency reported the earthquake at around 8:17 p.m. off the Kona coast, measuring a magnitude of 4.3.
