Hawaii to get $617K in settlement with CVS
HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – Hawaii will receive $617,160 as part of settlement with CVS, locally known as Longs Drugs, over Medicaid fraud allegations.

On Thursday, Attorney General Anne Lopez announced that Hawaii joined the settlement with 35 other states, the District of Columbia, and the federal government.
CVS was accused of overbilling Medicaid and other government reimbursement programs for insulin pen prescriptions from 2010 to 2020.

The company will pay a combined total of $36.5 million, plus interest, under the agreement.
