City officials said the beach park and its campsites will be closed Sunday, June 21, in support of training by the U.S. Marine Corps.

While Bellows is under military jurisdiction, it is typically open to the public on weekends and holidays through an agreement with the City and County of Honolulu.

Additional closures are scheduled for two weekends next month — July 10-12 and July 24-26 — due to military training operations.
