City begins pavement repairs along California Avenue
HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – Partial lane closures begin Friday on California Avenue in Wahiawa.

The City and County of Honolulu’s Department of Facility Maintenance will be doing pavement repairs between Kamehameha Highway and Puninoni Street.
Work hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. except on state holidays. The project is expected to be completed by February 19, 2027.

Drivers and pedestrians should expect delays and are encouraged to avoid the area during work hours when possible. Access to some driveways could be temporarily restricted at times. Emergency access will be maintained at all times and disruptions will be minimized as much as possible according to the City.
