15-year-old boy shot in Halawa, attempted murder investigation underway
HALAWA (HawaiiNewsNow) – Honolulu police are investigating an attempted murder after a 15-year-old boy was shot early Saturday morning.

Police said the teen and two other juvenile males were in a parking lot in the Hālawa Housing area on Kohomua Street around 2:30 a.m. when a vehicle entered the lot.
An unknown man dressed in black and wearing a ski mask got out of the vehicle and approached the group.
Investigators said the suspect raised what appeared to be a handgun and fired multiple times, striking the 15-year-old.
Honolulu EMS said the teen suffered an apparent gunshot wound and was taken to an emergency room in serious condition.

Police described the suspect only as a man wearing all black and a ski mask.
The suspect vehicle may be a light-red, four-door sedan.
No arrests have been made.
