12th Hawaii Comedy Festival returns to HoMA’s Doris Duke Theatre with more laughs
HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – The Hawaii Comedy Festival is celebrating 12 years of original local laughs while supporting the islands’ comedians, writers, directors and actors.

This year’s event runs Aug. 14 and 15 at the Honolulu Museum of Art’s Doris Duke Theatre and features sketches, improv, live music and a special family-friendly show. The mission is to support creative entrepreneurs at every level.

Festival founder, television actress and comedian Kimee Balmilero joined HNN’s Sunrise to talk about the event with a group of improv artists who performed sketch comedy.
