Suspect arrested in Kapolei mall parking lot robbery
HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – Police arrested a suspect in a robbery that occurred Monday night, Aug. 24, in the parking lot of Ka Makana Aliʻi in Kapolei.

Police said at around 11:40 p.m., the suspect pushed and kicked a 22-year-old man, took his personal property, and flashed the handle of a black handgun before fleeing.
The victim was not hurt.
Following an investigation, police arrested an 18-year-old man just before 1 p.m. Thursday on suspicion of second-degree robbery.

Charges are being sought with the Department of the Prosecuting Attorney, police said.
