Man arrested in Wahiawa attempted murder investigation
HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – Honolulu police arrested a man following a stabbing at a Wahiawa restaurant Monday afternoon.

Police said the victim was sitting inside a dining establishment on South Kamehameha Highway at about 3:15 p.m. when he was stabbed.
The suspect fled the scene carrying a skateboard.
Honolulu Emergency Medical Services responded to the restaurant and treated the victim for critical injuries from an apparent stab wound. He was given advanced life support before being taken to an area hospital in critical condition.

Police initially described the suspect as a local man believed to be armed with a knife.
At 6:30 p.m., District 2 Crime Reduction Unit officers identified and arrested a 24-year-old man on suspicion of second-degree attempted murder.
