Incumbent Democrat Ed Case established an insurmountable lead after the first printout, securing 57% of the vote compared to second-place candidate state Sen. Jarrett K. Keohokalole’s 34%.

U.S. House District 1 — Democratic

“I’m really grateful… and humbled, really, at the responsibility that people have placed in me to continue another two years in Congress,” Case said. “It’s a weighty responsibility in a very difficult time for our country, and we’re going to have to all pull together a lot more than we have to this point to try to solve our problems rather than worsen them.”

In his concession speech, Keohokalole thanked his supporters and said he called Case to congratulate him.

“We ran because we had policy differences. We ran because we thought that the moment called for more. And that’s why we ran this race. And that message now has been sent, and it’s been sent because of everyone that’s in this room right now,” Keohokalole said, who will resume his duties as state senator.

On the Republican side, Adriel C. Lam ran unopposed to secure the nomination.
