The National Weather Service has issued a Flash Flood Warning for Oahu until 4:15 p.m., Thursday.

Heavy showers and isolated thunderstorms are expected to continue into the afternoon as tropical moisture is drawn northward over the state by a deepening area of low pressure.

Flood-prone roads and other low-lying areas may close because of elevated runoff and overflowing streams. Urban areas could see more significant flooding and property damage from rapid runoff.
