HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – Tropical Storm Lala is moving farther away from the state. Trade wind pattern returns Tuesday with windward and mauka showers much of this week. Precipitation chances increase Friday and Saturday for windward areas. Winds may veer southeasterly late in the week.

The current south swell has peaked and will slowly drop today. Another moderate south swell is due over the weekend. All other shores will be dropping to small wave heights through the weekend.
