First Alert Forecast: Beautiful for now, but remnants from Tropical Storm Norbert expected to bring rain starting on Wednesday
HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – Calm comfortable conditions expected to persist through Tuesday. An increase of moisture from the remnants of Norbert will bring a wet trade wind pattern from late Wednesday through Friday. Heavy rain is possible on Thursday, especially over windward and mauka areas. Improving eather conditions are expected this weekend with moderate to breezy trade winds.

A series of south swells is due this week, the first on Tuesday, a larger one near advisory levels is due on Friday. Tropical Depression 15-E is forecast to strengthen, but it does not pose a long term threat to Hawaii.
