New art gallery in Waikiki showcases local artists
HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – A new art gallery and community hub in Waikiki aims to connect residents and visitors with talented artists from across Hawaii.

Danielle Rush of Illuminated ART Hawaii joined HNN’s Sunrise to talk about the new ART House in the Waikiki Beach Marriott Resort & Spa, featuring curated products from 30 small businesses and more than 20 local artists, including painter Lauren Roth.
“In addition to our in-house artists, we host a Featured Artist Series,” Rush said. “Every two months, we give the full spotlight to a specific artist, exclusively featuring their original artwork and celebrating their unique creative voice.”

The public is invited to join the gallery’s grand opening celebration on May 30th at 6 p.m. Parking is free.
“I love what The ART House stands for. It’s not just a gallery. it’s a ‘makers’ space’ that truly supports local talent and represents the spirit of every island,” Roth said. “I wanted to be a part of that energy.”
