‘Bows survive hard-fought 5-set battle against Iowa State
HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – The University of Hawaii Rainbow Wahine survived a hard-fought battle against Iowa State Saturday to continue their seven-game win streak.

The ‘Bows met the Cyclones on the second day of the Lucky Aces Invitational to get their seventh win of the team’s longest win streak since 2023.
The Rainbow Wahine rallied for control of the match, going 25-20, 15-25, 25-11, 19-25 and 15-11.
The now 8-2 ‘Bows dished out 10 aces and are 2-0 in the tournament.
Outside hitter Panna Ratkai finished the night with 18 kills on the night. She was one of four ‘Bows with a pair of aces.

Setter Adrianna Arquette had a double-double with 40 assists, 12 digs, two kills and two aces. Libero Victoria Leyva had a team-high 19 digs.
The Rainbow Wahine will wrap up the Lucky Aces Invitational Sunday against longtime rival UCLA. Coverage on K5 begins at 11 a.m., or streaming on the Mountain West+ app.
