Man found with ‘multiple lacerations’ in Waikiki hotel
HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – Honolulu police officers have opened an attempted murder investigation after a man was found with multiple lacerations overnight in a Waikiki hotel.

On Monday, shortly before 3:30 a.m., officers responded to a hotel on Niu Street.
Hotel security reportedly found a man on the 24th floor suffering from multiple lacerations to his head and arms.
Honolulu EMS administered advanced life-saving treatment, stabilized him, and took him to an emergency room for further treatment.
A weapon believed to have been used in the incident was recovered at the scene, according to police.
The suspect is described as a heavyset man, who was last seen wearing a blue shirt over a gray tank top, jean shorts, a light-colored crossbody bag, and black shoes.

The suspect reportedly fled the area before police arrived on the scene.
He has not been identified or located.
