Abandoned kitten finds second chance at Waikiki cat cafe
HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – A kitten abandoned along a Waimanalo road is now the center of attention at a cat cafe in Waikiki.

Hawaii Cat Cafe founder Cindy Washburn said the cat, now named Rosie, was found in a locked cage with nothing but a stuffed animal when she was just 4 weeks old.
She had no food or water and was covered in fleas.
After two months of recovery and treatment, Rosie is now one of the pets customers can visit inside the cafe’s Waikiki Beach Walk location. Like the other cats at the cafe, she is up for adoption.

The cafe’s mission is to find homes for cats and kittens, and staff members say applications are reviewed as quickly as possible. In some cases, cats can go home with their new owners on the same day.
The business charges entry fees and sells food and beverages to help cover pet care costs.
