Honolulu police investigate robbery at Kapolei mall parking lot

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – The Honolulu Police Department initiated a robbery case following an incident in Kapolei on Monday.

Police said it happened at approximately 11:40 p.m. in a Kapolei mall parking lot.

A 22-year-old man was approached by a man who pushed and kicked him while taking his personal property.

The suspect displayed the handle of a black handgun before fleeing on foot.

Witnesses described the suspect as a man, approximately 5 feet 7 inches tall and 160 pounds. He was wearing a black tank top, black shorts, and a black fanny pack.

The victim was not injured.
