Police investigate armed robbery at Kalihi convenience store
HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – The Honolulu Police Department is investigating an armed robbery in the first degree that took place at a convenience store in the Kalihi area on Monday.

Police said at about 1:24 a.m., the suspect entered a convenience store, brandishing a handgun, demanded property, and fled the scene on a black moped.

No injuries were reported.
Witnesses described the suspect as a man in his 30s, approximately 5’6” to 5’8” tall, with a slim build. He was wearing a black long-sleeve sweater with a purple “34” on the back, gray pants, white shoes, white headphones, and a black bandana around his neck.
