Court documents allege Geraldo Figueroa Jr. told officers he was offered $30,000 to fly from California to Honolulu to pickup the bags in airport bathroom and then fly with them to Seoul.

Prosecutors have filed a motion to hold Figueroa without bail. A hearing on the motion is set for Friday.

In a similar case, a judge denied a motion to hold Vanesa Selena Ramirez without bail earlier this month. Court documents show she was released on a $50,000 bond but must stay on Oahu until her trial.

Ramirez is accused of carrying cocaine in her checked bags bound for Toyko, Japan, on June 27.
