Honolulu firefighters extinguish warehouse fire in Kapolei, no injuries reported

KAPOLEI (HawaiiNewsNow) – The Honolulu Fire Department (HFD) responded to a commercial building fire reported in Kapoeli on Wednesday.

HFD said they received a 911 call at 2:31 a.m. and responded to a fire at 91-444 Komohana Street in Kapolei, and reported smoke and flames emanating from a medium-sized warehouse.

Firefighters secured a water supply, commenced an aggressive fire attack, and completed a primary and secondary search to confirm no occupants were inside the structure.

The fire was brought under control at 2:50 a.m. and fully extinguished at 3:55 a.m.

All HFD personnel were accounted for with no injuries reported. An investigation has been initiated to determine the fire’s origin and cause as well as to provide damage estimates.
