The change took effect Wednesday at the company’s store on North Nimitz Highway.
Company officials said the move follows the 2024 bankruptcy of Party City Holdco Inc., the brand’s former franchisor, and reflects a renewed focus on serving Hawaii’s local market.
“Although our name has changed, our mission has not,” said Andrew Shum, vice president of operations. “As Party Hawaii, our new identity better reflects our local roots and our continued commitment to offering products and services tailored specifically to our island communities.”

The company said the rebrand will not affect staffing or daily operations.
Customers can continue shopping for party supplies, balloons, costumes, decorations and seasonal merchandise—including Halloween items—at the North Nimitz Highway location.
