Hawaii DOH alerts residents to MorningStar product recall
HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – State health officials are alerting residents about a recall of two MorningStar Farms products.

The Hawaii Department of Health said MorningStar Farms Buffalo Chik’n Nuggets and Hot & Spicy Sausage Patties are being recalled due to the possible presence of plastic pieces.
Officials said the recalled products were distributed nationwide, including to Hawaii retailers such as Safeway, Times Supermarket and Don Quijote.

Health officials said hard or sharp foreign objects in food can cause injury or pose a choking hazard.
No illnesses or injuries have been reported in Hawaii.
