Kauai firefighters extinguish Anahola structure fire
LIHUE (HawaiiNewsNow) – Kauai firefighters responded to the scene of a house fire in Anahola shortly after 6 p.m., Tuesday.

Upon arrival, firefighters saw smoke coming from the second story of a home still under construction.

They were able to confine the fire to the lanai and fully extinguish it.
Damages to the structure and contents are estimated to cost about $41,000, according to the Kauai Fire Department.
