Victim identified, suspect charged in Keeaumoku St. shooting
HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – The man killed in a shooting near Ala Moana Sunday morning has been identified, and the suspect has now been charged.

The Honolulu medical examiner identified the victim as Jashawn K. Wakefield, 23, of Wahiawa.
His family set up a GoFundMe page to help cover funeral costs.
Police said Detor Sirom, 37, was charged Wednesday with second-degree murder, first-degree attempted murder, and place to keep pistol.

The shooting occurred around 5 a.m. Sunday near the intersection of Keeaumoku Street and Kapiolani Boulevard.
