2 arrested after stabbing in Kalihi, including teen victim
HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – Honolulu police are investigating an attempted murder after a stabbing late Monday in Kalihi.

Patrol officers responded at around 10:40 p.m. to the Rose Street area.
According to police, an argument between a man and his girlfriend escalated when the girlfriend’s 17-year-old son confronted the suspect. Police said the suspect stabbed the teen during the altercation.
HPD said while EMS personnel were rendering aid, the victim became combative and assaulted an EMS worker. Police said the teen was taken to the hospital for treatment, where he was arrested for second-degree assault.
