Pan-Pacific Festival celebrates Hawaii’s cultural diversity
HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – An annual cultural festival returns to Honolulu for a weekend of events.

The 43rd Pan-Pacific Festival takes place all weekend long, from June 12 to 14, across multiple venues from the Ala Moana Center to Waikiki.
The event began in 1980 as a way for the Oahu community to share, learn, and experience traditional Japanese culture.

The festival was later broadened to include all of the diverse cultures that share the Pacific ocean.
Throughout the weekend, there will be an ongoing Hula Festival.
A Performing Arts Showcase will also take place throughout the weekend at the Ala Moana Centerstage and the International Market Place.
