Kauai parade kicks of Pride Month celebrations
LIHUE, Kauai (HawaiiNewsNow) – The Garden Isle celebrated Pride Month Saturday.
Kauai County hosted the first Pride Parade of the month with the Eighth Annual Kauai Pride Parade and Festival.

Events started at 10 a.m. in Lihue and finished with a festival on the Kauai County Lawn.

The party included a performance from Halau Ka Pa Hula o Hinano, Drag Queen performances, and several local food trucks and small business vendors.

The next Pride Parade will take place in Maui County next week in Wailuku.
