Woman dies after being hit by vehicle in Iwilei parking lot
HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – A 65-year-old woman has died after officials say she was hit by a vehicle in Iwilei Thursday afternoon.

The crash happened in the La Tour Plaza parking lot near Alakawa Street and Nimitz Highway at around 1:45 p.m.
According to the Honolulu Police Department, a 57-year-old woman was reversing out of a marked stall and hit a pedestrian.
Honolulu Emergency Medical Services administered advanced life support and took her to the emergency room, where she died.

Police said the driver remained at the scene and was not hurt.
At this time, speed or alcohol do not appear to be contributing factors in the crash. It is unknown if drugs are a factor.
This is the third non-traffic fatality on Oahu this year, compared to zero at this same time in 2025.
