UH women’s volleyball cancels Hawaii Island trip as Tropical Storm Lala approaches
HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – The University of Hawaii at Manoa women’s volleyball team announced Thursday the cancellation of its weekend trip to Hawaii Island due to Tropical Storm Lala.
The Rainbow Wahine were scheduled to take on the University of Hawaii at Hilo’s Vulcans in an exhibition match Saturday at the Afook-Chinen Civic Auditorium.
The contest would have marked the sideline debut for first-year head coach Joshua Walker.

Both teams were also set to host a joint keiki clinic on Friday.
