Rainbow Warriors use bye week to stay sharp ahead of Wyoming

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – The Rainbow Warriors are using their bye week to keep building momentum after a win over New Mexico State.

Despite not having a game this weekend, Hawaiʻi returned to the practice field for a full-padded workout aimed at keeping the intensity high.

The Bows are coming off a 29-19 win over the Aggies.

“We’re gonna go hard and continue to go hard until the season’s over because at the end of the day we just gotta continue to get better,” head coach Timmy Chang said.

Wide receiver Audric Harris said the team has its sights set on competing for a Mountain West championship.

“We wanna go to the Mountain West Conference championship and win,” Harris said. “To do that we have to be working.”

After the bye, Hawaii will head on the road to take on rival Wyoming with the Paniolo Trophy on the line.
