Man injured after tree falls, takes out powerline near Honolulu Zoo
HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – A fallen tree took down a power line near the Honolulu Zoo and reportedly injured a man.

It happened on Kapahulu Avenue, and Honolulu police have closed part of the sidewalk area of the zoo’s parking lot.
The road is still open.
Officers told Hawaii News Now a tree branch hit a man on the head while he was walking in the area.

Emergency Medical Services responded, but the man’s condition is unknown at this time.
