Man arrested after allegedly firing rifle near Kahaluu church
HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – A man was arrested Thursday after allegedly firing a rifle at another man near a church in Kahaluu.

According to the Honolulu Police Department, at around 2 p.m., a 38-year-old man reported that after an argument, a 45-year-old man allegedly pointed a black rifle at him and fired in his direction but missed. He then fled on foot.
HPD said they checked the surrounding area and located the suspect near Kamehameha Highway and Lihikai Drive.

Police arrested the suspect on suspicion of attempted murder in the second degree without incident.
