M5.1 earthquake strikes south of Hawaii Island, no tsunami expected
HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – A magnitude-5.1 earthquake struck near the Loihi Seamount south of Hawaii Island Tuesday evening.

According to the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center, the quake hit at approximately 5:49 p.m.
