Three juveniles arrested in connection with North Shore mob beating

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – Honolulu police have arrested three juvenile suspects in connection with an assault that took place on Oahu’s North Shore.

On Saturday, officers responded to an assault investigation at Waialee Beach, commonly known as “Dead Man’s Curve.”

Detectives continued the investigation and determined that a 23-year-old man and a 15-year-old boy were assaulted by multiple individuals and sustained significant injuries requiring medical treatment.

As detectives continued the investigation, it was learned that the victims were allegedly restrained and prevented from leaving during the assault.

As a result, kidnapping offenses were added to the investigation.

On Tuesday, three suspects, one 17-year-old and the other two, who are 14-year-old’s, were identified and arrested for kidnapping and assault offenses.

The investigation remains ongoing. Additional arrests are anticipated. Charges will be sought with the Department of the Prosecuting Attorney.
