Mililani crash claims 76-year-old passenger’s life; driver hospitalized
HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – On Tuesday, a crash took place in Mililani that claimed the life of a 76-year-old woman.

At about 8:35 a.m., a collision involving a single vehicle occurred on Meheula Parkway, near Keaolani Street in the Mililani Area
It was reported to the Honolulu Police Department that a 77-year-old man was driving southbound on Meheula Parkway when he crossed over a raised center median into the northbound lanes and traveled onto the sidewalk, where he struck a tree.
As a result of the collision, both the 77-year-old driver and his 76-year-old female passenger were transported by Emergency Medical Services to an area hospital in serious condition.

On June 2, 2026, at about 10:20 p.m., the Traffic Division, Vehicular Homicide Section was notified by the Medical Examiner’s Office that the 76-year-old woman who was a passenger involved in this crash had succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced dead.
At this time, it is unknown if speed, drugs, or alcohol is a contributing factor.
This is the 17th Traffic Fatality on Oahu this year, compared to 31 at the same time in 2025.
