The PGA Tour announced Monday that Sentry Insurance will assume title sponsorship of the tour’s longstanding event at Torrey Pines Golf Course in San Diego, which will be renamed The Sentry.
The 2027 tournament will run Jan. 25-30, and Sentry Insurance’s contract at Torrey Pines runs through 2035.
The PGA Tour has played annually at Torrey Pines since 1968, using both its North Course and South Course. The tournament there has changed names several times over the years, although it’s been the Farmers Insurance Open since 2010.

The Plantation Course at Kapalua had been The Sentry’s home from 1999 to 2025.
It was canceled earlier this year due to ongoing drought conditions and logistics.
Next year will be the first year in nearly six decades that Hawaii will not be a stop on the PGA Tour.
