Hawaii National Guard concludes Kona Low recovery efforts
HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – The Hawaii National Guard officially concluded its support and recovery efforts for victims of the spring Kona Low storms on Friday.

Soldiers and airmen worked alongside county and state agencies since Gov. Josh Green activated them during the storms.
As heavy rainfall quickly inundated parts of the state with flood waters, the National Guard assisted with recovery efforts, debris removal, sandbag distribution, and delivering supplies to people in need.

Hawaii National Guard personnel have returned to normal operations.
Officials say the guard will remain on standby for the upcoming hurricane and wildfire seasons.
