TheBus to run special U Line for UH Manoa commencements
HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – The city will add an extra bus service this weekend to accommodate crowds attending University of Hawaii at Manoa graduation ceremonies.

The city’s Department of Transportation Services said TheBus’ special U Line will operate Saturday, May 16, connecting the Ahua Lagoon Drive Skyline Station and UH Manoa.
The first trips toward campus will begin at 7:54 a.m. Trips from UH Manoa back to the Skyline station will start at 9:35 a.m.

DTS said the U Line does not normally run on weekends, but the added service is intended to help graduates, families and other attendees travel safely and avoid traffic congestion.
Riders are encouraged to plan ahead using the Transit app for schedules and route information.
