County of Hawaii to hold earthquake recovery meeting
HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – The County of Hawaii is holding an informational meeting on Thursday regarding the recent earthquake.

On May 22, a 6.0 magnitude earthquake hit Hawaii Island, causing major damage.
The meeting will take place from 6-7:30 p.m. on Thursday at the Sgt. Rodney J.T. Yano Memorial Hall, which is located at 82-6156 Mamalahoa Highway in Captain Cook.
The meeting will aim to provide an opportunity to learn about available county resources and receive updates from the Civil Defense Agency, the South Kona CERT Team, the Department of Public Works, the Department of Water Supply, and the Department of Parks and Recreation.

In addition, representatives from nonprofits such as the American Red Cross and Vibrant Hawaii will be present to offer support and information.
