JBPHH to conduct Major Accident Response Exercise
HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam will conduct a large-scale emergency response exercise Wednesday.

The 15th Wing said the Major Accident Response Exercise will simulate a downed aircraft near the installation and is designed to test and improve responders’ ability to handle catastrophic incidents.
Officials emphasized the exercise is only a training drill and not a real-world emergency.
During the exercise, the public may notice increased activity around the base, including emergency response vehicles and additional personnel.
